hello can i please ask this question? do mri makes more money than a nurse/rn. i had a debate w/another student that is seeking radiology tec. i said yes mri do and he said noway nurses makes more. please answer.

The more you can expand your medical terminology vocabulary, the better. Don't worry so much about individual words, but concentrate on roots, prefixes, and suffixes...then you can decipher much more than if you try to memorize words alone.
Also beef up on your anatomy. Know the bones as well as the articulations. That should be more than enough to keep you busy and keep you warmed up for the start of class.

Hello All,
I have one more class to take in the first part of the summer and i'm done with the pre-classes. I can't wait to sign up for the program. What do you recommend myself and others like me should be doing while were waiting to get in the program. should i be studing medical term. or a studing a book for rad. please help. I don't want to start to fresh in the program.

Just a quick note - a Radiologist is a physician who specializes in interpreting images. A Radiographer (or Radiologic Technologist) specializes in obtaining the images.
This forum is used by Radiographers, not Radiologists.
